BIPOC MENTAL HEALTH MONTH
Wellness and
Stress Reduction Programming
As we approach July—the midpoint of the year and a time dedicated to honoring BIPOC Mental Health Month—I want to speak honestly and directly about why making mental health a daily ritual is not just important, but necessary.
For generations, our communities have carried the weight of systemic oppression—trauma woven into our histories, our bodies, and our nervous systems. This inherited burden shapes how we show up in the world today, influencing how we experience stress, healing, and freedom. Our mental health isn’t separate from this history—it is deeply connected to our liberation.
Our freedom, our power, begins with reclaiming our minds and hearts. It begins with choosing ourselves daily, especially when the world tries to tell us otherwise.
So, I invite you to journey with me throughout this July in a 4-week series designed to reconnect us with our truest selves. Together with my sister Tyneka Pack, we’ll explore practices rooted in breath, movement, mindfulness, and culturally relevant coaching—tools that meet us where we are and honor where we come from.
There is a quiet power in reclaiming your presence. Not the kind that demands applause or validation, but the kind that steadies your breath and reminds you—you have always been allowed to take up space.
This week, we begin with a return. To self. To stillness. To ritual.
Let this be a soft rebellion against burnout.
Let this be your invitation to choose yourself every single day.
breathe. release. reset.

Breathe deeply. Stretch intentionally. Rest fully.
I created these classes to meet you exactly where you are. Whether you're in bed, seated in a chair, out in nature, or ready to move more fully—there’s a practice here for you. As a yoga instructor of color with a practice rooted in liberation, it’s my honor to guide you back to your breath, your body, and your peace. Together, we’ll move with intention, soften the places we’ve been holding, and reconnect to our brilliant bodies—with grace.
Breathwork Meditations for Liberation
Inhale Freedom. Exhale Doubt.
Meditation has become my anchor—my way of coming back to center when the world feels too loud. It’s where I find stillness in the continuous, softness in the tension, and breath when everything feels like too much.
I’ve poured love into each of my guided meditations—they’re all practices that have supported me through my own journey. You can find them on Insight Timer and Spotify, created for those moments when you need to pause, let go, or simply be. These offerings are here to walk with you through both the mess and the magic—gently guiding you back to you.
